• Alignment of Vision = Clarity
  Why are we doing this in the first place?

Before I can really help others, I must have some clarity in my purpose and also take care of myself. This is often an evolving lifelong process. At least it has been for us and the individuals we work with. The same holds true for a family (which is really a system). For an individual and a family to really help others, including themselves, they must be clear in their individual and collective purpose if they are are to transition successfully. This is especially true if there is a family owned enterprise involved. When there is a vision / purpose established - it must be integrated into the family transition structures and drive the family’s dialog, culture, interaction and implementation going forward for successful transitions. Also, how the individual / family vision and purpose are put into action and become part of the family culture needs to evolve with changes in the world we live in and the vicissitudes of life. Therefore, periodic previews and adjustments are needed and part of our ongoing process.
